Hi there!
I hope you are all well. Just a quick message to let you all know that my new album 'Let your free flag fly' is out now and is available from CD Baby, itunes and Amazon. I guess the album is best described as Beach Boys influenced West Coast pop meets quirky English psychedelia. I have posted a few tracks on Reverbnation (www.reverbnation.com/thesunchymes) if you would like to listen. There are also previews of all the tracks at www.cdbaby.com/cd/thesunchymes
I would also like to say thanks to all of you that have supported The Sunchymes so far.
best regards
Aaron

Review of 'Shifting Sands' in the latest issue of Bucketful of Brains
Hi
David Bash of International Pop Overthrow has reviewed 'Shifting Sands' in the latest issue of Bucketful of Brains. What's also cool is that there is a great interview with Jason Falkner in it. Here's the review:
'The Sunchymes are a band who clearly and unabashedly worships the ground that Brian Wilson has walked on, and while Shifting Sands couldn’t have been a Brian Wilson solo album, certainly various elements of the “sound”, such as a harpsichord fill here and echoed percussion there, are often utilized. Actually, Shifting Sands is best characterized as a modern sunshine pop album, as many of its tracks are bouncy, upbeat, feelgood numbers-an irony is that “Down At Pallisades” (sic) is probably the saddest sounding of all the tracks, and those of you who like the softer, more reflective side of Baby Lemonade will dig the album’s final tune, “Rose Water”.Shifting Sands is a fine beginning by a gentleman who hopefully has a few other tricks up his sleeve saved for future releases.'
A big thanks to David for reviewing it. ..
